The Lucretia Oldham Brewster Chapter was organized May 6, 1978 and chartered September 6, 1980. The chapter holds its meetings on the 2nd Saturday January to May and September to December.

The chapter is named for Lucretia Oldham Brewster, sister of John Oldham who was married to Jonathan Brewster, son of William Brewster, one of the signers of the Mayflower Compact. She was baptized January 1599/00 and died 4 March 1678/79.
