Welcome to the
CROWN COLONY CHAPTER

Crown Colony Chapter of the National Society Colonial Dames XVII Century, CSS was organized on April 30, 1974 with twelve members. The chapter was chartered in Coronado, “The Crown City”, on March 19, 1976 with 21 members with the current membership at 50 members. In 1997, The National Colonial Dames XVII Century presented a certificate to Crown Colony-CA Registrar General Awards Gold Star Chapter “in recognition of outstanding contribution to the Advancement of this Society.”

The Chapter holds its meeting on the 2nd Thursday in January, May and September. One of the long time missions of the Crown Colony Chapter is to place Historical Markers at local historical landmarks. Another mission of the Crown Colony Chapter has been to support and visit many fascinating locations throughout San Diego County.
